San Diego Personal Branding Photography

Hello there and welcome to my lil ‘ole blog! On this tiny portion of the internet, I plan to write about all things personal branding!

But first, a little bit about me! I’m based in San Diego and live in north county with my sweet husband Eric, and 2 boys Ethan and Chase. Oh, and I can’t forget about the best little miniature schnauzer Chloe.

I was born in San Diego, but moved to Huntington Beach in 2nd grade, and lived there until I came back down to San Diego for college. Go Toreros! I spent 4 years there (my dad said I WILL be done in 4 years and I definitely made sure to get out by the tuition expiration date!) After college, I entered into sales and the majority of that was spent in medical sales. In 2018, after 12 years with my company, my territory was merged with LA and I found myself with a severance and a window of opportunity to do something that I never thought I’d have the guts to do. Thank goodness for little blessings and life aligning just when it needs to.

That was when Kristin Bradford Photography was officially (re)born. I’d been doing photography since 2011, but I really put some hustle into the business to make it what it is today.

I also do family photography, but I adore personal branding photography since I can use my corporate experience and help entrepreneurs create content for their own businesses. Whether you are a San Diego wedding planner, fitness instructor, blogger, influencer, crafter, web designer or shop owner, having personal branding photographs are important to anyone in business.

Headshots are great for updating your LinkedIn profile and there certainly is a time and place for that. But personal branding photography goes beyond that. Storytelling of your brand is what I try and convey to your ideal clients. Consumers want to feel like they understand YOUR story and that what you have to offer is truly better than your competitors. Advertising your brand positions you as an expertise, and it gives your clients a more authentic brand experience.
